The Kitchener-Waterloo NDP has "adopted" University Avenue between Westmount and Fischer-Hallman. That means that we are responsible for keeping it clean (two cleanups a year does the trick) and we get signage at both ends giving us credit for doing so. The signs went up in June 2008 and we have held seven cleanups to date.
